YOUAR grew out of a world class, highly creative, innovative, animation/production company, Bent Image Lab, / Bent Design Lab based in Portland Oregon. Our team of artists had visions of how Augmented Reality could inspire the world with art and wonder.
We wanted to build user to user persistent AR experiences:

However, THE TECHNOLOGY JUST WASN’T THERE. With the help of some inspired young geniuses, we struck out to build our own.
IN THE PROCESS we became a technology company, inventing an entirely new AR cloud framework, creating the only multi application AR browser, the Adaptive Anchor Network, started the Open AR Cloud Foundation, Cofounded the Open AR Cloud Foundation, and Developed 11 AR related patents to date.
Now, for the first time AR experiences can persist in the real world, and go beyond one user, or one session.
Our YOUAR Cloud SDK
provides the ability to DISCOVER, CREATE, SHARE and associate content to PERSISTENT AR "Anchors” anywhere in the world.
Crowd Source the World
The YOUAR ADAPTIVE ANCHOR NETWORK uses a collection of anchors to refine AR content; positioning occurs and can be tracked over time, with continually improving consistency. Users can leverage the system to quickly find content and track to areas they have never been to before. Crowdsourcing speeds up the mapping process and allows the users to continually improve the system.
